Big Mac in a Bowl!

I am just about to head off on holiday for a few days and haven’t been paying enough attention to syns (or counting any!) I’m going to give myself a few days off and get back on it next week, when we return from España.

Last night we enjoyed a Maccy Ds for 2 syns. I’m not joking! The Big Mac in a Bowl is a classic Instagram meal and really does taste like the real deal. Serve it up with sweet potato and parsnip chips and I defy you to want a visit to the Golden Arches afterwards. Can’t credit anyone as I’m not sure of the source, but thank you to whoever out there came up with it!

Serves 2

250g 5% lean beef mince
Half an onion, finely chopped
Half an iceberg lettuce, chopped into large squares
Half a cucumber, chopped and halved
Several gherkins, chopped
Tomatoes, chopped and halved
2 slices of light plastic cheese (the ones that top the burgers), torn into squares
Kraft light thousand island dressing

Fry the onions and mince in Frylight until brown and cooked through. Layer the bowls with the lettuce, then some of the mince. Sprinkle with the tomatoes, gherkins and cucumber and half the cheese. Add a further layer of mince and repeat with the tomatoes, onions, gherkins and cucumber. Add the remaining cheese and sauce on top.

Does it taste like a Big Mac?!
